The Story
The idea for napsac was the invention of one man who had endured years of frustration being unable to rest or sleep comfortably while travelling. napsac was not designed in a laboratory or in an office or by a committee. It has been designed and refined over many miles of travel. Like most economy travellers, he had been plagued by delays and cramped seats so he thought it was about time that someone seriously thought about how to make modern day travel a more relaxing experience.
The 'eureka' moment came when he was stuck
on a seven hour flight in economy class, 36,000 feet above the Atlantic, with barely enough room to stretch his legs and struggling to sleep leaning backwards into the head-rest, when he recalled a magazine article about how an astronaut slept while she was weightless by adopting a semi-foetal position. So why could he now not sleep sitting forward in a comfortable position?
The idea for napsac was born.
